As you probably know, Switzerland is famous for its mountains. Around two-thirds of the surface of Switzerland is mountains and some of these peaks reach an altitude of over 4,000m (13,000ft).
A Swiss student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology now created a great visualization of the peaks of Switzerland that are higher than 1,000 meters. This project lets you interact with the data by filtering the peaks by certain attributes like the language of their name or the altitude.
